From incoming cell grading to 100% burn-in and pre-shipment audit, TURSAN applies a three-gate QC system plus product-specific testing for portable power stations, home energy storage, and mobile EV charging systems. Quality is built into the process — not inspected in at the end.
The same defect caught in the field costs a customer.
A battery is only as reliable as its weakest cell and its least-disciplined process step. That's why TURSAN doesn't rely on a single end-of-line check. We control quality at three gates — rejecting bad material before it enters the line, catching process drift the moment it appears, and verifying every finished unit before it ships.
The result is a system where most defects are designed out or screened out long before final inspection — and where every unit that leaves the factory carries a complete, traceable test history.
IQC
Cells, BMS boards, inverters, enclosures and connectors verified against spec before release to production.
IPQC
Inline checkpoints at welding, assembly, BMS programming and electrical safety — drift caught at the source.
OQC
100% performance, safety, cosmetic and packaging audit before any unit is cleared for shipment.
These aren't aspirational targets — they're the operating standard our QC team is measured against, batch after batch.

Every product — regardless of category — passes the same backbone of quality checkpoints from raw material to the loading dock. A unit only advances when the previous gate signs off.
Cells, BMS boards, inverters, enclosures, wiring harnesses and connectors are inspected on arrival. Supplier certificates (CoC, MSDS, test reports) are reviewed; non-conforming batches are quarantined and returned at the source.
Every cell is graded on capacity, internal resistance and open-circuit voltage. Only cells with closely matched profiles are grouped into a pack — capacity variance is held to under 2% to ensure even balancing and full pack life.
Laser welds are 100% vision-inspected for cold joints and penetration. Torque-controlled fastening, glue dispensing and module assembly are checked against work instructions with first-piece and hourly sampling.
Each BMS is flashed with the correct firmware and verified for communication protocol, cell balancing, and the full protection suite — over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current and short-circuit response.
Hipot (dielectric withstand) and insulation resistance testing confirm high-voltage isolation and the absence of leakage paths — a mandatory gate before a pack can move to burn-in.
100% of finished packs run 48–72 hour burn-in cycles under load. Temperature, voltage and current are logged every second; any unit showing abnormal behavior, capacity shortfall or balancing drift is pulled for engineering review.
OQC engineers perform a 100% final check — rated capacity discharge, BMS function, cosmetic and labeling audit, serial-number verification, and UN3480 DGR-compliant export packaging confirmation.
The QC backbone is shared — but a portable power station, a home storage system and a mobile EV charging battery face very different real-world stresses. Each line runs its own dedicated test program on top of the standard gates.
Portable units are carried, dropped, charged in the field and connected to a wide mix of devices. QC here focuses on multi-port output integrity, solar input behavior, transport survivability and the user-facing interface — the things that fail a customer if they slip through.

QC is only as credible as the equipment behind it. Our in-house lab lets us verify performance, abuse tolerance and environmental durability without waiting on a third party — and gives our partners results they can audit.
Multi-channel charge / discharge cycling for cell and pack capacity, efficiency and cycle-life validation.
Wide-range thermal cycling for cold-start, high-temperature and environmental qualification testing.
Dielectric withstand and insulation resistance verification for high-voltage safety compliance.
AC waveform, THD, voltage / frequency stability and round-trip efficiency measurement.
Multi-axis vibration table and drop-test rig for transport and vehicle-mount durability.
Safety-rated chamber for thermal runaway propagation and containment evaluation.
Dust-chamber and water-jet testing to verify enclosure ingress-protection ratings.
Full-function BMS testing — balancing, SOC / SOH accuracy and communication protocols.
Different product categories are held to different international standards. This matrix shows the core standards our QC program references across the three product lines — full certificates and test reports are available to partners on request.

QC results only matter if they can be traced and retrieved. Every TURSAN unit is logged through our MES (Manufacturing Execution System) — from the cell batch it was built with to the burn-in curve it produced and the OQC engineer who signed it off.
No process is perfect — what matters is what happens next. Every non-conformance triggers a structured corrective-action cycle so the same issue doesn't reach a second unit, let alone a customer.
