मराठी You don’t need a finished engineering specification to request a custom energy storage battery quote. But asking for a “10 kWh battery” alone leaves the supplier guessing about power output, inverter compatibility, and installation conditions.
For a useful starting quote, share the application, voltage, capacity, power requirements, expected quantity, and destination. Here’s what to include and what can wait until the design discussion.

Start With Capacity and Power Requirements
Capacity tells the supplier how much energy the battery stores. Power tells them how quickly your system needs that energy. Both affect cell selection, the battery management system (BMS), cables, and protection devices.
For example, a nominal 51.2 V, 200 Ah LFP battery stores 10.24 kWh. Delivering 5 kW at 51.2 V requires about 98 A before system losses. A battery with the right capacity may still lack the discharge current your equipment needs.
Send these details if you have them:
- Application and electrical requirements – 家庭备份, solar self-consumption, or another use; nominal voltage, inverter voltage window, target capacity, and whether that means nominal or usable energy.
- Load requirements – Continuous output, peak output, peak duration, and charging power. If these are unknown, provide an equipment list and required backup hours.
- Installation conditions – Available dimensions, mounting method, indoor or outdoor location, ambient temperature range, and required enclosure IP rating.
- System compatibility – Inverter brand and model, supported battery protocol, and planned parallel connections. CAN or RS485 alone doesn’t establish compatibility.
Specify LFP or another chemistry if your project requires it. Otherwise, ask the supplier to recommend one, along with a suitable BMS architecture and passive or active thermal management.
Define the Customization Scope
A logo change and a new enclosure involve different costs and development work. State whether you need 标签品牌, packaging, connector variants, enclosure changes, firmware tuning, or custom communication.
Include your sample quantity, initial order quantity, estimated annual demand, and preferred sample delivery date. Ask the supplier to separate sample pricing, unit pricing, tooling, and engineering charges, and confirm the MOQ and sample lead time for your scope.

Avoid Four Common Quotation Gaps
- Leaving out peak loads. Include motor-starting surges and their duration, not just average consumption.
- Assuming communication will work. Share the inverter’s battery compatibility requirements before the supplier selects BMS firmware.
- Leaving compliance vague. Name the destination market and applicable requirements. UN 38.3 addresses transport testing; it doesn’t replace product safety certification.
- Comparing different delivery terms. Request a named delivery location and Incoterm, and clarify freight, taxes, dangerous-goods handling, and certification costs.

It helps if you define what it covers. State whether your budget includes the battery only, customization, or delivered cost. Keep essential safety and performance requirements separate from optional features.
What should I confirm before placing an order?
Confirm the agreed specification, compatibility validation, compliance documents, warranty terms, sample approval process, and production lead time. An indicative quote isn’t a final design approval.

Send one short brief with your application, voltage, capacity, continuous and peak power, inverter model, customization needs, quantity, and delivery destination. Mark unknown items as open for recommendation, and request an itemized preliminary quote with assumptions and exclusions. That gives the supplier enough direction without requiring you to design the battery first.
